900/1000 Talk of Approval!
The best cinema going experience I have had all year! People were laughing at the hilarious 1 liners from the kids and were creeped out when Pennywise was on screen. You could feel the tension in the room.
This is hands down the best Stephen King adaptation since The Shawshank Redemption. The characters were likeable and had amazing chemistry with eachothers. I have to give it to the child actors aswell every one of them was amazing.
Now for the most anticapted part about this movie, Pennywise. Before going to see this movie most people were very questionable to see if Bill Skarsgård could live up to the Tim Curry performance in the 1990 mini series. I can happily say that Bill knocked it out of the park! He was funny and most of all creepy, excatly what a great horror villian should be. The only negative I could say about this movie is the overuse/poor CGI. Pennywise was easyily alot creepier when Bill was in costume instead of the poor CGI. The Georgie scene CGI reminded me of the CGI in Sharknado. Other than that this movie was sick and is in my TOP 5 of the Year so far!
Get Out (2017)
1000/1000 Talk of Approval!
Get Out is hands down one of the best movies I have ever seen. This movie is original, funny, sad and scary. The acting from Daniel Kaluuya is on another level. The scene when he is sitting in the chair crying his eyes out is so well done it's scary. His american accent is also on point. I didn't even know he was from the UK! Jordan Peele which makes his director debut is doing something so many experienced directors fail to accomplish, making the audience interested in the actual story. This story has a twist which makes you want to go and rewatch the movie again so you can pick up the small plot details that are hidden in the movie that you will only understand when the twist is revealed. LilRel Howery as officer Rod is one of the best things about this movie. His scenes will make you laugh even if you have a dead soul. Go and watch this movie, you will have a great time!
Annabelle: Creation (2017)
300/1000 Wasted!
The amount of stupid ass decicions in this movie is off the chains. Instead of feeling scared u sit there angry ass fuck trying to figure out how someone can be so fucking stupid its crazy. Not only that but the director keep trying to come up with unique jumpscares but instead it falls flat and not scary at all. Only positive I can give this movie is how perfectly it lines up with Annabelle nr 1.
Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2017)
500/1000 OK...
After the huge surprise of Kingsman: The Secret Service. The highly anticipated sequel is finally out! But is it good?
I will start of by saying that Taron Egerton kills it as Eggsy yet again! But a great performence by him does not save this movie unfortunately. As expected from a Kingsman movie the action scenes is well shot and highly entertaining, but The Golden Circle's biggest problems is with it's overuse of silly CGI and poor antagonist. What made the first Kingsman so, so good was the balance between the silly cgi and practical. With this one its just a big CGI mess with over the top action. Also the way this movies handles Roxy, Merlin and especially Channing Tatum's character. Channing was marketed to be one of the main characters but he is in the movie for like 4 mins. Also Elton John pissed me off, fuck him.
To sum it all up Kingsman 2 is an ok but dissapointing sequel to one of my favorite movies of all time. The lack off great storytelling, overuse of silly CGI and poor written characters this movie is a bust. Despite that it's still a fun enough movie to go and watch. The action scenes at times are very entertaining.
The Big Sick (2017)
900/1000 Talk of Approval!
The Big Sick is one of the biggest surprises of the year! Kumail Nanjiani tells his real life heartwarming story about how his now wife Emily went through her tough time in coma. This movie also has some of the funniest scenes I have ever seen in a movie. The cheeseburger scene is gold! This movie has heart, comedy and a fantastic real story which hits you right in the feels. This is one of the reasons why we need more original movies instead of the shit sequels *cough* Transformers *cough*. To sum it up this movie surprised the heck out of me and you should go see this movie right now. Its not just one of those classic romantic movies, this is so much more.

1000/1000 Talk of Approval!
There were a lot of expectations when people discovered a new series of Star Wars movies would be made. From the cast, which has always been their strong suit, to the visual effects and the plot, which didn't go so well in the prequels.
Thankfully, they did very well in every single aspect of it.
The story moves around Rey, a scavenger living in Jakku, Finn, a stormtrooper that wants to redeem himself by helping our third main character, Poe, a pilot from the Resistance, which has come back to life since the First Order was born, a successor organization for the Galactic Empire.
The visual effects accomplished to keep the style from the original movies while looking extremely realistic. Another good aspect of the movie is how they managed to keep John Williams as the music composer, which gave the movies a sense of belonging with the original ones, something that was strengthen with the appearances of iconic characters such as Han Solo, Leia Organa and Luke Skywalker.
If you're a fan of the series you will definitely enjoy The Force Awakens, but even as someone who hasn't seen the previous ones you will like this movie as an independent story.

800/1000 Talk of Approval!
Kingsman: The Golden Circle, one of my most anticipated movies of 2017, starts right back up from were it left off in 2014 with a fantastic action-packed car chase scene that makes the whole Fast & Furious franchise look like toddlers playing with matchbox cars.
This film returns with everything fans loved about Kingsman: The Sercet Service. Unique action scenes, whitty dialogue and sarcastic vulgarity are bigger and better. Although this film falls short on making all that flow together like the first film, it still fills the void for dissatisfying summer for action films.
Kingsman: The Golden Circle is very aware of the kind of film it is and stays true to that. If you can be aware of it as well, then you'll have a enjoyable theater exsperience while watching this film.

It's extremely refreshing to see a really solid romantic comedy that even with the components you always see, it manages to feel fresh and original in its own ways. Kumail Nanjiani is immensely likable in the lead role, and the way his relationship builds with not only Emily but her parents, felt really honest and very earned, unlike the type of relationship development you would get in films like these.
